Well, since property is just sitting there empty, I put in a code violation request and was told by code enforcement that there was nothing to tell. I interpret that as there are no code violations on the property. So now what? Well, I figure since there is no code violations on the property, my next step is to get in touch with the owner/developers and find out what is “wrong”. I’m assuming they ran out of money but that is only an assumption without direct knowledge. So I will contact the owner/developer and find out what is what.
I’ll keep you posted.
Have a Prosperous, Successful day.
Keep Moving Forward!
I’m still researching the deal to get all of the information I think I might need to determine if this deal is doable. I will then shop it around to some investors to see if they think it’s a good deal. If it isn’t a good deal I will then learn why it’s not a good deal and use that information on my next deal.
This is a short post but I’ll keep you informed.
Yes that’s right real estate newbies. I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired and I’m moving out of my comfort zone and moving in the direction I want my life to take and we shall see what happens. A friend of mine was walking with me to a free concert in our neighborhood and he pointed out some property that had been sitting there vacant and said that he worked on it some time ago. I looked at it and immediately saw a possible “opportunity”. As a matter of fact, I went this morning to take pics and came home and researched the property to see if I could find the owner. I found some info and will see where it all takes me. A friend of mine is a broker with more experience and I already told him I would need his help and he agreed. I will keep you posted as to my success or failure and what I have learned from what looks to be a wonderful experience.
Yes that is what I believe. What is inside of you is what matters most. The work that you have to do in order to achieve success will start on the inside and work itself outside. Your success will start with how you think, what you think and how you let other people influence those factors. We have a lot of clutter and noise going on in our head because we are worrying about keeping a roof over our head, paying the cable, taking care of our children and giving them what they want and need without feeling like we are letting them down so we won’t feel bad or feel like a failure.
The most important thing you can do for yourself is sit down, clear the room, clear your head, turn off the tv and take the time to look inside of yourself and see where you are, ask whether or not you like your position in life, answer yourself honestly and make a decision to decide what you are going to do about it. This can be the hardest thing to do because most of the time we are our own worse enemy and the truth hurts. I’m doing this now on a daily basis. I’m taking the time for myself to get where I want to go. I know I need a mentor. Mentors are not free. If you can find someone to mentor you for free – excellent- grab them and hold on for dear life. However, most mentors will charge a fee and that is ok because their time is worth any money you need to spend. I just don’t have the money —- yet. But I’m moving toward that goal and working in that direction. For me to keep moving in that direction and not give up is what is most important. Hopefully, you will agree and do the same. You are worth it.
