Real Estate Newbies Re-focus

I wanted to share this with you. Sunday night I got on a great call with Andrew Morrison of small business camp – http://www.smallbusinesscamp.com. His call focused on real estate. He was helping one of his clients create her first audio. It was great. I knew I was on the right track but you know me I’ve admitted to losing my focus but this helped me tremendously to witness the event in person so to speak. It was an excellent call. It helped me focus and it may help you too.

Check out Andrew Morrison at http://www.smallbusinesscamp.com.

Real Estate Newbies Are You Making the Money You Wanna Make?

I truly hope you are but I know I’m not. I’m working part time for a nursing home but I want to be a real estate investor – badly. So what am I going to do about. Well, I’m frustrated as hell and I feel like a gerble on a wheel and I’m not happy about it. So here’s what I am going to do. I have my real estate license and even though the market is not the greatest in Atlantic City where I live I’m still going to do my level best to get into a real estate office to learn the basics. I want to specialize in working with investors while becoming an investor as well.  I figure in the meantime I can make some more money than what I’m making now and make some things happen. I want to start out part time but most places won’t allow you to do that anymore. They want  you to commit to a full-time position.  I don’t have a problem with that but my dilemma is how am I going to keep my bills paid as a single mom and not seem desperate to make a sale? I don’t know but I’m going to work it out.

Oh, and I haven’t forgotten about the envelope I wrote to the investor/developers of the project that I am working on. I’ll still send out that letter but maybe I’ll have some help.  Well, I’ve phone a few agencies and I’ll see what happens. If nothing happens, I’ll still send out the letter and see what I can make happen.

You too can make it happen.

Real Estate Newbies I’m still Not Focused – Are You?

Ok. I told you that I was keeping it real and admitting the truth here – I’m still not FOCUSED! I want to be focused but somehow someway – probably because I don’t have a mentor – hint hint – yet I’m just not focusing on the things I need to focus on. Don’t get me wrong I know I need to focus but it is very difficult. Now that could be just me needing some extra help to focus. My new post is late. I am supposed to write a new post every 7 days so I am late – Unfocused.

I haven’t written my letter yet to the developer but I have written the envelope.  I have to do some research to find out the best wording for the letter and I have to go to the library to type the letter because my printer is broken.

Well, until next time I hope you are keeping focused real estate newbies and if you’re not then use this blog to help you to help yourself.

Until next time Stay FOCUSED.

Real Estate Newbies What are you Working On?

Have you stepped toward your first deal — even a baby step – anything is better than nothing  at all. I told you I have to take my next step and write the owner of the development that I am looking at. Have I done that yet? Honestly, no. Why? Because I’ve lost some focus and concentration but I’m back on track. This is why you need a mentor to keep you accountable and focused because we all lose our way. I have to sort of be my own mentor until I can find someone who can fill that spot but until then I will write my letter and let you know what type of response, if any, I receive.

Until next time,

Move Forward!

Happy Fourth of July!!
