Real Estate Newbies I took the Plunge and Signed up With Keller Williams Realty

Hey Everyone,  I didn’t realize it has been 28 days since my last post. I’m sorry about that. My intention was to make a post every 7 days at least. Well, just as my post title says, I signed up with Keller Williams Realty to become an agent and learn the basics of traditional real estate. I say traditional because I want to become a wholesale real estate specialist – that is still my dream and goal but I needed to do something to get where I want to go NOW. It’s not all about the money. I want to grow and become the best that I can and I wanted to make a move and I did- what about you? What move are you going to make to move in that direction. It may not be headed directly in that direction. You might take a few twists and turns like I’m doing but I’m doing something and that what counts. I’m not sitting waiting for something to happen – I’m making it happen.

I like the fact that Keller Williams Realty allowed me to start part-time and keep my job because I still need to keep an income while learning how to build a successful real estate business. All of the other companies I spoke to wanted me to commit full-time but I wasn’t in a financial position to do so and still keep the cable on and have a marketing budget too. That just wasn’t going to work without my part-time job. So here I am an agent for Keller Williams Realty and I’m very excited. I’m going to learn how to build a successful traditional real estate business while I’m still looking to become a wholesale real estate specialist. This is going to be fun and hard work because I’m going to be straddling – working both places – as an employee at my part-time job and as an independent contractor at Keller Williams Realty. I’ve never done this before so it will be interesting to see the results. I’ll keep you posted and I hope this will give you the incentive to move forward on whatever you’re doing or want to do. If I can you, you most certainly can too!

Until next time,

Prepare & Prosper

  1. HI!
fellow Rich Dad reader. I’m assuming?… I thought it was great that I came across you on e-how. I am in the final stages of finishing the book and have made the decision to start investing in my financial future! I had a few question about what trials you have went through. I guess i should say that my credit score matches my checking account, LOW-lol… but I am willing to take the risk, and risk to gain. I was hoping that you had a few pointers since you’ve started on your journey before I did!!!

    thanks in advance

btw look me up on facebook if you have it!
