Real Estate Newbies, Unemployed Citizens & Anyone Else

I just had to include this link for an article we all need to read:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/41781471/ns/business-bloomberg_businessweek

This article is entitled, A U.S. Recovery built on low-paying jobs.

This is America people and we need to be able to get back to where we were financially and just $10 hour jobs or less is just not going to cut it. This is ridiculous.

I’ll be working with Kadena Tate Simon who will be giving a 4-week teleclass called “Getting Clients Now”.  The first thing that stuck with me when I first heard about Kadena was that she has always held the belief that entrepreneurship is the way to economic freedom.

Check out Kadena’s teleclass

We owe it to ourselves to be the absolute best that we can be. Let’s all reach the level of our Highest, Best Self.

Real Estate Newbies Do You Know Your True Potential?

I don’t think most of us have a clue. I know I didn’t for a long time until yesterday. Yesterday was my 28th (with 22 years experience) 🙂 birthday and I do believe a milestone in my life. Not just because of my age but because of what I learned about myself. I finally learned about my true potential. At the suggestion of Kadena Tate Simon who I hope to call my mentor, I bought the book Strengthsfinder 2.0 and took the assessment to determine my top 5.  Honestly, I didn’t think it would be so accurate but I was blown away with the level of accuracy that this assessment uncovered about myself.  Just to be clear, the purpose of Strengths finder is not to “anoint you with strengths – it simply helps you find the areas where you have the greatest potential to develop strengths.” This was the best way for me to spend my birthday. It represented a rejuvenation, a new birth thus birthday in my life if you will to finally gain some clarity where there was confusion, etc. and a knowing that can never be taken away only added to. I would recommend, suggest, scream to the top of my lungs that EVERYONE – man, woman and child (they have the same for children 5-14) take this assessment. Could you imagine what life would have really been like if you had that advantage at 5 or 15 to know your greatest potential no wondering, no guessing and what that would do for your quality of life and the lives of those around you. By the way my top 5 are Intellection, Input, Positivity, Learner and Adaptability. I call it IIPLA. You’ll understand when you take yours.

Check it out at http://www.strengthsfinder.com or you go get the book from amazon, or barnes and noble.

Real Estate Newbies are you working on You?

This is a great blog post from Darren Hardy, Success Magazine Creator and I thought I’d share it with you. Darren Hardy speaks about spending your time wisely – instead of watching sports all of the time or at your designated time why not invest in yourself and read a book, learn something you’ve always wanted to learn that you’ve thought about forever or thought about – Self Improvement:

Real Estate Newbies Learn Something New

I just received this from Preston Ely of Flip Factor Fame and thought I’d share it with you.

Weekly Wisdom Shot
Educate Yourself Or DIE
The Learner Shall Inherit The Earth
By Preston Ely
“If you think education is expensive – try ignorance.”
– Ben Franklin
Every single successful person I know is quite literally addicted to learning. They are all compulsive
learners. Total addicts. They binge on books, tapes, and seminars. And then they throw their
knowledge up all over the earth and make it a better place.
They just can’t get enough. Freaks.
Some people like to party. These people like to learn. I like both personally. : – ) I’m well balanced
when it comes to my partying and learning.
Heck I was just at a masquerade party last night. It was awesome. Everyone had masks on.
I literally worked 17 hours (from 7am to midnight) and then went straight to the party. I wore my Hugo
Boss tux and a hockey mask. it was a little different from what everyone else was wearing. I never
really was one to fit in. People look at me like I’m from outer space wherever I go. I was actually
thinking about wearing an astronaut helmet last night with tinted glass.
“Earth is BOOOOriiiiiig, people. I’m takin this thing INTERPLANETARY!”
Jesus was a party animal in case you didn’t know. He rarely missed a good thrown down. I mean,
He wasn’t the guy running around the room with a lampshade on His head or anything. But He was
laughin it up and having a good time I assure you.
But He liked to learn too.
“After three days they found Him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them,
and asking them questions. Everyone who heard Him was amazed at His Understanding and His
answers.”
– Luke 2:46
He was twelve years old.
All that learning paid off for Him apparently. He turned out to be a pretty popular guy I’d say. Saving
the world and all.
Quick pop-quiz. Don’t worry; this will not count against your overall score in my system.
Official Pop-Quiz
1) What do you like doing the most? What would make you the happiest?
a. watch tv
b. rent a movie
c. fight with my wife
d. do something worthy of getting a guest appearance on Jerry Springer
e. read or listen to an educational book or program in order to expand your mind and stay off the
Springer show (and out of jail).
That was it. It was a one question quiz. You either ace it or fail it.
And that actually DID count against your score. I’m sorry. I didn’t want to scare you right up front with
that.
You circled “d”, didn’t you ya big dummy? And you actually used a permanent marker on the
computer screen. I knew it. I’m wasting my time with you.
You got a frowny face on that quiz. Sorry. Show your mother when you get home.
You Did Bad!
Honestly though – what would you rather do with your spare time? Relax? Or Learn?
Successful people HATE relaxing. Relaxing is for cats. And for Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Not for
warrior champion world-beaters such as yourself.
Ya dig?
Get off yer ass and LEARN something why don’t ya? It’s the only way!
I see the same people at every single bootcamp and seminar that I go to. I wonder why. They always
seem to have alot of money. So that’s pretty weird. That may be a clue.
_____________________________________________________________________________________
“There is an analogy that relates learning to a table. The methods of learning are the legs, and the
more legs you have the sturdier the table. Seminars are one of the legs. They give you a chance to
learn from top of the line instructors. Besides learning something new, you get to see things from a
different perspective because each instructor has a particular forte or approach. You may learn a
refinement or another way to utilize one of your tools. Seminars can also be motivational, because you
get to see someone perform at such a high level that it gives you something to aspire to.”
– Derek Weismandel, famous martial arts instructor in NYC
_____________________________________________________________________________________
You should get one of those by the way. A clue that is. They’re awesome. Get one. Heck, get a
bunch. Get a whole cluster of clues and start making some CHEDDAR, homey.
Clues = Cheddar
Now THAT is an equation that should be posted right next to E=MC2 in the chart of All Time Best
Equations. Or whatever that one thing is that Edison or Einstein did that one time.
I think I spent somewhere around $25,000 on my education this year. I probably went to at least ten
seminars, masterminds, and bootcamps. I wonder if all that will pay off for me next year. My goal is to
quadruple my income. Betcha I do it.
What’s YOUR goal for next year?
How do you expect to achieve it?
You won’t do it at the same mental level you are at currently. And you won’t advance your mental level
without doing two things –
– surrounding yourself with “next level” type people
– educating yourself
“The only difference between who you are today and the person you will be in five years will come from
the books you read and the people you associate with”
– Charles “Tremendous” Jones
You MUST develop your appetite for learning. There is no success without it. And if you DO happen to
get rich without it then you’ll just be a rich idiot and no one will want to hang out with you (still).
Turn off the tube. Pick up a book.
Or stay broke. The choice is yours. But just know that you being broke is annoying people.
Especially me. Stop it.
Make it happen.

This falls right in line with what T. Harv Eker says is one of the differences between rich people and those who are not one of the wealth files you will find in T. Harv Eker’s book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind – Rich people choose to continuously learn and grow. Poor people think they already know?

Some food for thought.

Real Estate Newbies Are You Searching for and Finding the Right Mentors, Coaches and Trainers?

I know I’ve been looking for quite some time. I have found the right person for me. The one who I want to work with to take me to the next level and help me get where I want to go. Kadena Tate-Simon. She is a phenomenal woman. She is President and CEO of e3woman International and she is awesome. She is the only one who told me that I have to find out what my strengths, talents and abilities are in order to put myself in the best position I can be in because once you know what your strengths, etc. are you have no competition.  Wow! I was so blown away. And to confirm that I was listening to Rich Schefren who is the millionaire maker of the internet gurus, and he said the same thing. Bang! I had my confirmation and I knew I was on the right track. Rich Schefren is a genius when it comes to showing people how to build a business and what it takes to keep it successful. You can check him out at http://www.strategicprofits.com and Kadena Tate-Simon can be checked out at

If you haven’t found your mentor or coach yet, don’t worry just keep looking and don’t give up. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.

Well, that’s all for today. Happy February 1st and go help somebody today.
