Real Estate Newbies are You Taking Action or Talking Yourself Out of It?

I did that this morning. I had an idea about marketing getting my name out there and kept hesitating and hesitating and talked myself right out of it. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Just Do It! Nike is so right and I don’t think anyone can say it better – Just Do IT! So whenever you get a bolt of lightning for an idea that hits you just Take Action and Implement it – Do It. Don’t think about it. Just Do It. I’ll keep you posted on what happened with my idea.

Real Estate Newbies are You Implementing – Taking Action?

One thing I am having a clearer understanding of is
I-M-P-L-E-M-E-N-T-A-T-I-O-N. It does one no good to learn new strategies and techniques and not put them into action. My mother used to always say, “Experience Is the Best Teacher”. This is so true. All of the ‘gurus’ say it in a little different way – “Action brings Confidence”. They (Loral Langemeier, Vicki Irvin, Kadena Tate) all say that action trumps it all. The more action you take, the more confidence you will gain. I must say this is true. I am knocking on doors and making cold calls – Action- things I have never done before and my confidence IS building. The more action I put in motion, the more confident I feel.
So get out there and take some action. Jonathan Sprinkles says, “Take the First Step” and you’ll be on your way. Try It! You won’t be sorry.

Real Estate Newbies – Don’t Fight the Fear – Embrace It!

Yes, embrace the fear and change the name of the fear to TURBO. Yes, TURBO. Master Nigel Henry of Mastery Unleashed says that Fear is really TURBO propelling you to your Greatness so Embrace It, Feel It, Let it flow through you and propel you to your greatness and complete the task.

For me that task is my first deal. Since I learned to change the way I think about fear with some help from Master Henry Nigel, I don’t feel as terrified on the inside of tackling this issue and actually moving forward one step at a time and getting my first deal done. I’ve gone over the process and steps of it a thousand times in my head and now I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired and am determined to make it happen. There is a house down the block from me that is abandoned and I’ve written the owner once. I’m going to write the owner again and see if I can get this deal done– My first one. I’ll keep you posted.
