Well to be perfectly honest, mine is. Yes it is. My enthusiasm is wanning and getting lesser. Why? The deals that I was so enthusiastic about – I had three – all flopped, bombed, went kaput! Man oh man did that piss me off but that’s the business and that’s how it goes. Do I like it? Hell No. But it is what it is. I did my level best to bring those deals to the table and have it result in a check but I have no control over people and what they will and won’t do. People will say one thing and do another and there is really nothing you can do about that. Well, what’s next? No more feeling sorry for myself. What have I learned? You have to keep moving and have your vision and always be looking ahead because the deals that you have may not come to completion where it will result in a check and you still have to keep it moving. So tha’s what I am doing — Keeping It Moving — onto the next deal.

Now, let’s both go take some ACTION!

Real Estate Newbies……WHAT’s THE PLAN?

Have you made that first sale? Still have some fear? I am going to tell you that the only thing that will defeat that fear is taking a step toward what you want. I promise you, you will be so glad that you did. You will be so glad that you have that behind you now and all you will want to do is take that next step into your greatness. I PROMISE YOU.

How do I know? Because that’s where I am right now. I can’t wait to do my next deal. I am making more calls. I am talking to more people. It is almost like magic. Since I broke through the fear I am Unstoppable. At least that’s how I feel right now at this moment. Nobody waited longer than I did. If I can do it you can too. I used to read other people’s articles who used those same words and I thought they were just saying that to sell more of whatever they might have been selling but I tell you I’m not selling anything and it is the truth. I can’t do it any justice by writing about it only to the extent that I am sharing my experience via the written word. Now you have to take that leap of faith and find out for yourself.

Real Estate Newbies Are You Doing Deals Yet Part Deux!

Hi, just thought I’d check in and let you know what’s going on with my deal. Whew! It’s been a week of stuff. First the title company couldn’t find the deposit check. Come to find out they had the check with the first offer that we put in and wasn’t accepted. Then I had to write a email saying that we didn’t sign an agreement on the first deal and get the deposit check cashed. My buyer’s lender wanted more info about some financial info. You get the drift – DRAMA. However, we finally got the commitment and are getting steps closer to closing.

I tell you this stuff is challenging. I’ve been told every deal is different and I guess I will find out but it has been very eye opening and such a great learning experience for both me and my client. We both know what NOT TO DO NEXT Time!

Well, that’s it for now. I will keep you posted on what happens next.

Are you doing any deals? Why not? I know you have some fear but I promise you if you take the first step, the Universe will assist you. The Universe is waiting for you. You don’t believe in Universe, that’s fine whatever you choose to call it. G-d, or some other name just have Faith in whatever you believe and know that when you take that first step on Faith good things will happen. I waited a long time because of fear – False Evidence Appearing Real – Don’t give fear any more power over your dreams. Step out on Faith. You can do It. I believe in You.

Real Estate Newbies are You Taking Action or Talking Yourself Out of It?

I did that this morning. I had an idea about marketing getting my name out there and kept hesitating and hesitating and talked myself right out of it. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Just Do It! Nike is so right and I don’t think anyone can say it better – Just Do IT! So whenever you get a bolt of lightning for an idea that hits you just Take Action and Implement it – Do It. Don’t think about it. Just Do It. I’ll keep you posted on what happened with my idea.

Real Estate Newbies Are You Taking Different Actions?

Wow…I hope so because it will change your life. Wohoo! I must say I am finally moving in the direction of where I really want to go. I really want to be an authentic business owner who helps those who need and want my help. I made my first cold call on Tuesday, April 5, 2011. I had never made a cold call before in my life and you couldn’t pay me to do it. I was so afraid it was ridiculous. What changed? I would have to say time, knowledge, more confidence in myself and feeling good about what I was doing and getting sick and tired of being sick and tired. I am taking actions that are not only helping myself but helping others also. You may think it’s all about oh she had to do it in order to make money but no because if I wasn’t going to change in that direction then I would just say ‘Bunk it’ and go get another j-o-b you know just over broke. And believe me these days that’s truer than ever before depending, of course, on what you are doing. Make no mistake there are plenty of folks out there making plenty of money and they are feeling no pain. A lot of us are not in that category but there is a whole different level of world out there. Those are people who are making the money and not feeling too much if any pain. I want to be part of that world. If you’re familiar with T. Harv Eker of “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”, you are familiar with his school of thought that states that your income will grow as you grow. Well, I’m growing and I’m taking my income with me thank you very much. I’m way over due as most of us are. I was petrified with analysis paralysis for years and you know what – no more. I truly want the same for each and every one of us because if we are all growing and changing into our highest and best self then the world can’t go wrong. We all prosper and we all benefit from each other’s growth.

Real Estate Newbies are You Moving Forward?

And taking action. Action is huge I’m discovering as I move forward into my journey of becoming a successful business owner. I’m also taking a productivity coaching class at my real estate office offered by my broker. This is good for me to in order to accelerate my “ACTION” taking progress. However, I’m not crazy about knocking on doors. I think that is begging for business instead of putting yourself in a position where they (sellers and/or buyers) come looking for you. Having said that, I also realize that in order to get jump started and get it going it would probably produce results faster if I knock on doors. Yuck! I really don’t like how it feels. I feel like a beggar.  Now the difference between the real estate office productivity coaching and the Get Clients Now program is that the author, C.J. Hayden, states that if it is something you don’t like to do don’t put it on your daily activity sheet to do because you simply won’t do it. I’d like to also add that you won’t look forward to it and you won’t have any fun doing it which is what you want your business to be – F-U-N. You want as much fun as you can create so why do activities you don’t like? That is what outsourcing is for. I also like and agree with Rich Scheferen of http://www.strategicprofits.com. He says that we are taught to focus on our weaknesses (cold calling, knocking on doors, etc.) especially if you don’t like doing them instead of strengthening our strengths and giving ourselves an edge and as Kadena Tate of http://www.e3woman.com states “there will no competition”. I like that much better and it’s definitely more fun.
